About Lisanne Sanders
Lisanne has been working as a senior researcher in the Department of Policy Research & Analysis since 2023. She is involved in contract research in the field of education and finance. She uses econometric techniques to predict, for instance, the development of teacher shortages in education.
Lisanne studied econometrics & operations research at Tilburg University, where she also obtained her PhD in 2011. Her PhD research included research on the dependence of mortality probabilities between married couples as well as optimal pension distribution between couples.
After her PhD research, Lisanne worked at SNS Reaal until 2014. From 2014 to 2022, she worked at Coöperatie DELA.
