Planmirror
Tool provides insight into future shifts in the labor market on lower aggregate levels

The education labor market model Mirror is available as a web interface for schools and regional educational platforms under the name Planmirror. Website users can produce scenarios on their own using pupil estimates and the number of full-time positions (FTE) per pupil at the school level. After the prognosis request, Planmirror simulates future developments based on the user’s input and presents the results in a detailed Excel overview with figures for quicker insight into the results.

Information through Mirror

The tool provides insight into future shifts in the labor market on lower aggregate levels, with the lowest minimum being a school. Information about expected attrition, substitution supply and job openings are included. These results are presented per subject for secondary education.

Planmirror also calculates financial results, such as wage costs and their financing. By doing so, Planmirror allows for strategic human resource planning within a school or regional educational platform.

Planmirror was developed for the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW) and is available at www.planmirror.nl.
