CentERpanelThe CentERpanel is an important instrument for CentERdata to collect data online. The CentERpanel is composed of well over 2,000 households, which complete questionnaires at home every week through the Internet. The CentERpanel is an appropriate representation of the Dutch-speaking population. Fast, efficient, and reliableThe panel has more than lived up to expectation since its establishment in 1991. Major, complex research projects (such as the DNB Household Survey) have benefited from the possibility of reliable change measurement. Drop-out rates are low. Small research projects benefit from CentERpanel’s speed and efficiency. Our panel management staff makes sure that: - the panel is an appropriate representation of the Dutch population;
- the respondents remain panel members over the course of time. This is how a large number of respondents can be involved in longitudinal research;
- the respondents are motivated to complete questionnaires seriously to vouchsafe their supply of valid data.
Access with and without the InternetNot all Dutch people have computers with Internet access, nor do our panel members.
