Micro-simulation techniques

Do you wish to calculate prognoses for specific target groups or the effects of specific policies? Then micro-simulation may be the solution for you. In micro-simulation, we calculate individual behaviour with the aid of a behavioural model and analyse the results on every chosen aggregative level. We can also calculate effects of policy measures on specific target groups.

CentERdata has a lot of experience with micro-simulation. Examples of projects in which micro-simulation played an important part include estimates of employment opportunities for teachers for the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science (OC&W), sectoral labour market estimates for the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations (BZK), and a structural labour market model for the Council for Work and Income (RWI).
