Descriptive research

You may simply wish to map out an existing situation, such as how many senior citizens are engaged in part-time employment? What is the age distribution of those employed in a particular sector? What sums do people take out in loans? What are the expenses faced by mothers on social security? For such research questions, existing data sources or questionnaires are ideal. Obviously, we can also link such data sources.
