Miquelle Marchand
Position: Senior researcher at the Survey Research department
Since 2005, Miquelle has worked with CentERdata as a researcher. She is responsible for the health monitor and for data dissemination. In 2000, Miquelle graduated cum laude in Social Psychology at the Radboud University. At this university, she also conducted PhD research into impression formation and self-presentation, which dealt, more specifically, with impressions people create of people who have ulterior motives (such as flatterers). In this period, Miquelle also taught first- and third year students, especially in the field of interpersonal relations. Currently, she applies her knowledge of research methods to internet research carried out with the CentERpanel.
Miquelle took her PhD degree on 13 September 2006 with a thesis entitled: Forming an Impression of a Flatterer: Targets and Observers Becoming Suspicious of Ulterior Motives.
