Annette Scherpenzeel

Position: MESS Project manager

Annette currently works at CentERdata as project leader of the new facility for online data collection (MESS). Following a master in Psychology, she obtained a PhD (doctoral) degree in methods and statistics for her study of the quality of survey questions. She was researcher at the Telepanel in Amsterdam, the University of Amsterdam and Telecom Netherlands (KPN). Next, she moved to Switzerland and helped building a Swiss social-economical panel. She worked several years as a methodologist for this panel and taught research methods and structural equation modelling at the University of Neuchâtel. After her return to the Netherlands, Annette has carried out contract research for several universities and clients.
